About Workman’s Dashboard
Workman’s Dashboard was created by brothers Adrian and Tom Merry who have been in the specialty contracting business for over 15 years. The Merry brothers own and run a successful concrete and asphalt business in the Greater Seattle Area. The predecessor system that Workman’s Dashboard is based off of was developed and implemented successfully for 10 years prior to the creation of Workman’s dashboard. The Merry brothers now trust Workman’s Dashboard to run not only your specialty contracting business, but they trust it in their own business which employs 47 people, handles over 2000 job bids a year, and runs over 1200 full jobs a year.
Workman’s Dashboard is a Job Management System designed for specialty contractors in construction trades. Its features overlap with Customer Management Systems (CRMs) accounting systems and traditional project management software. But, Workman’s Dashboard is designed specifically to help manage a high volume of short-duration projects. It does this by:
- Using forms and a data structure specifically designed for specialty contractors.
- Offering dashboards relevant to the different roles in specialty contracting operations: these dashboards for estimators, project managers, office managers, owners and foremen help your team organize information about all your jobs in their various stages from bid request to paid-in-full. Users in each role can quickly prioritize what tasks require immediate attention.
- Using data to produce valuable reports, which help owners and managers allocate resources among existing customers and market segments.
- Accelerating data entry. In developing workman’s dashboard, we’ve paid special attention to using the latest web-development techniques to accelerate the creation of bids. You can set up default product and service categories, detailed descriptions and their accompanying units and unit prices. These accelerators not only make bidding faster. They reduce errors.
Workman’s Dashboard is built using responsive web design techniques. That means it will work great on smart phone and tablets in addition to traditional desktop and laptop computers.
